A Global Collaboration Reaches Its Final Stage
We've reached the milestone of all milestones! After years of hard work, countless revisions, and plenty of passionate discussions, we (Roelant and Dirk) have finally completed all the content for our book Data Engine Thinking. Each chapter represents our combined decades of experience, distilled into practical, accessible insights.
This achievement is also being celebrated by the amazing DMCE team at FastChangeCo, whose creative contributions to the business storyline have brought theoretical concepts to life with storytelling and real-world scenarios.
Transcontinental High-Five
Today, Roelant (in Australia) and Dirk (in Germany) shared a virtual high-five across half the world, bridging 16,000 kilometers with shared excitement. Despite the time zones, and all the ups and downs along the way, our collaboration turned into something truly remarkable. We're incredibly proud and happy to have reached this point after navigating so many challenges together!

In short: all text is written, 99.5% of the ~350 handcrafted graphics and illustrations are done, and everything is now in the hands of our talented layout team. Each visual is designed to make these concepts easier (and more fun) to understand.
We're just a few steps away from crossing the finish line, and soon you'll be able to hold the physical manifestation of our vision in your hands. We can’t wait for you to flip through the pages and feel the weight of all the knowledge packed inside.
